VFW POST 10825 will meet Saturday at 8 a.m. at Fordham’s Farmhouse, Highway 80
East.

BIRD/BYRD Family Reunion, descendants of George Walter Bird and Lucy Edenfield,
will be held Saturday, 10 a.m.–3 p.m., at the Honey Bowen Building, Max
Lockwood Drive. A covered dish meal will be served at noon. For more

ä SPRING DANCE Showcase featuring the ACA ballet
students will be held Saturday in the Emma Kelly Theater beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Free admission, but donations accepted.

BULLOCH COUNTY Historical Society will meet May 20 in the fellowship hall of
Pittman Park United Methodist Church, Fair Road. Program, “Ebenezer During the
Revolutionary War,” will be presented by Norman V. Turner, an Effingham County
historian. A Dutch treat lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. The program begins
at noon.

Meeting will be held May 21 at 6 p.m. in the parlor of Pittman Park United

ä THE MILL Creek Chapter of the Sons of the American
Revolution (SAR) will meet May 21, 6–7 p.m., at Fordham’s Farmhouse. Program:
Emory Allen Burton will present, “The Revolutionary War in Georgia.”

ä HOMETOWN CONCERT featuring Drew
Wiggins will be held May 23 in the Emma Kelly Theater beginning at 7:30 p.m.
